Senior Quality Engineer – Hampshire – Equipment
About the Company: We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join a specialist equipment company in Hampshire. Working in the compliance team, the purpose of your role is to ensure compliance and continuous improvement from a quality perspective on site.
Responsibilities:
- Quality improvement.
- Liaising with other departments to provide expertise in the area of quality.
- Test method development.
- Report writing.
- Cross-functional program management.
- Supplier management.
- Root cause investigation and CAPA.
- Managing non-conformances.
- Auditing to ISO9001.
- Monitoring and improving KPIs.
- Building and implementing ISO 9001 supplier audit schedule.
- Equipment calibration.
- QMS updating and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a manufacturing engineering positions within a similar environment.
- Experience working with suppliers.
- Kaizen
- 8D
- 5Y
- Lean
- FMEA
- Auditor experience
- Lead auditor certification
