Senior Account Manager – South West Germany

We are partnering with a leading life sciences company specializing in innovative technologies for research and diagnostics. Our client provides state-of-the-art solutions that support applications across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic sectors. We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive business growth and build strong customer relationships in South West Germany.

About the Role
As the Senior Account Manager for South West Germany, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving revenue targets across the region. This role requires a results-driven individual with a strong scientific background and a passion for customer success. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver solutions that meet customer needs in a dynamic, competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive growth and meet revenue targets in South West Germany.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, including researchers, laboratory managers, and procurement teams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, and academic sectors.
  • Provide technical expertise and application-based guidance to customers, ensuring optimal product usage.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, closing deals, and post-sales support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, technical support, product management) to ensure customer satisfaction and product success.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track sales activities, report on performance, and provide insights into market trends and customer feedback.

Who We’re Looking to Speak With

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology).
  • Sales experience in the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and managing key accounts in a complex sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of life sciences technologies, particularly in research, diagnostics, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in German and English (both spoken and written).
