Senior Account Manager – Oxford

We are partnering with a leading life sciences company specializing in innovative biomarker detection technologies to hire a Senior Account Manager for the Oxford region. Our client provides high-performance solutions for measuring biomarkers in complex biological samples, supporting researchers in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic institutions.

About the Role
We are looking to speak with experienced life science sales professionals with a strong background in biomarker research, immunoassays, or related fields. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing key accounts and identifying and developing new business opportunities across Oxford and the surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue and expand market share in Oxford and the surrounding region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, lab managers, and procurement teams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, and academic sectors.
  • Provide technical and application-based guidance to ensure customer success and maximize product utilization.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring accurate sales forecasting.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to increase brand visibility.
  • Maintain CRM records and provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Who We’re Looking to Speak With

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology).
  • Sales experience in life sciences, biotech, or pharma, ideally selling biomarker detection or immunoassay technologies.
  • A strong understanding of biomarker research, immunoassays, and drug development.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to travel across the Oxford region as needed.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track customer interactions.
