Senior Account Manager – North West Germany

We are partnering with a global leader in life sciences technologies to hire a Senior Account Manager for the North West Germany region. Our client provides cutting-edge solutions for research, diagnostics, and drug discovery, supporting various applications across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic sectors.

About the Role
We are looking to speak with experienced sales professionals with a deep understanding of life sciences and a passion for driving customer success. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding key accounts across North West Germany, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a customer-facing, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets in North West Germany.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including researchers, lab managers, and procurement professionals.
  • Identify and target new customers, expanding our client’s presence across the region.
  • Provide technical and application-based support to customers, ensuring they maximize the value of the company’s products.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, negotiating, closing deals, and ensuring post-sales satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and technical support, to meet customer needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and market knowledge.
  • Track and report on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Who We’re Looking to Speak With

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology).
  • Sales experience in the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and managing key accounts in a complex sales environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of life sciences applications, especially in research or diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Fluent in German and English (both spoken and written).
