Business Systems Analyst - Food Contract Manufacturing 

Based: Fort Worth, TX OR Los Angeles, CA

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000

About Our Client: Kinetica are partnered with a privately owned Food & Beverage Contract Manufacturer HQ'd in Los Angeles, CA and also operating in Fort Worth, TX on a Business Systsem Analyst (EDI) opening. The  BSA (EDI) improves company systems and workflows by analyzing user needs, designing solutions, and supporting key technologies like EDI and ERP. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead customer/supplier EDI integrations (design, deployment, and support).
• Manage 3rd-party EDI vendors to meet performance goals.
• Administer EDI and integration platforms (monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization).
• Drive continuous improvements using SDLC best practices (e.g., process maps, test scripts, user training).
• Support enterprise-wide projects by documenting system requirements and specifications.
• Train end users on new and existing system functionality.
• Respond to IT support tickets, troubleshoot issues, and provide long-term solutions.
• Work with cross-functional IT teams to meet business objectives.
• Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in business system support (preferably in manufacturing or food & beverage).
• EDI (ANSI X12, EDIFACT), ERP (Microsoft Business Central, Aspen Canopy), Integration Standards (XML, FTP, FFI).
• Ability to become a subject matter expert on assigned applications.
