Business Development Lead – EMEA

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Lead to expand our client's market reach across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the life science and biotech sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales and market expansion in EMEA.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders in academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors to promote the company's portfolio of reagents and research tools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and research institutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and product management, to align commercial strategies.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Experience of business development, sales, or commercial experience within the life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships.
- Strong network within the research and biotech communities across EMEA.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel across the EMEA region (30-50% travel required).
